Terms of service
These terms apply to every order placed with Five Lines, a 3D printing workshop in Limerick, Ireland. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.
Orders
Your order is accepted when we send you the order confirmation email. Everything is printed to order. If we cannot make something (for example, a file does not print well), we will tell you and refund you in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place the order.
Custom and personalised work
- Before you pay for custom work we confirm the price, the material and the date with you.
- You must have the right to use any file, design, logo or image you send us. We will not print anything that infringes someone else's rights, or items we consider unsafe or illegal.
- Personalised and custom-made items are made to your specification, so the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to them once production has started. Faulty items are always covered.
About 3D-printed items
3D-printed parts show fine layer lines, and small variations in colour, finish and size (usually within a fraction of a millimetre) are normal. These are not faults. If precise tolerances matter for your part, tell us before we print.
Deposits and services
Deposits for batch runs and design work secure your place in the queue and are deducted from the final price. If you cancel before we start work, the deposit is refunded in full. If you cancel after we have started, we keep the part that covers the work already done.

Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for how a part is used once it leaves our workshop, except where the law does not allow us to limit our liability.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
